We're here to help y'all with this result. This issue could be caused due to compatibility bug between drivers and the operating system. I would suggest you to try these steps and check:

Commencement, let run the built in network troubleshooter which can automatically discover and fix most of the incorrect settings that could cause network problems. Right click on the network icon in the notification expanse and select 'troubleshoot' to launch the Windows network diagnostics tool. If the result even so persists, then I would suggest you to install the latest Windows 7 drivers from the manufacturer's website in compatibility manner and cheque. Installed in compatibility mode windows 7. Not solved the effect. Received the aforementioned bulletin "Ethernet does't take valid IP configuration" on diagnosis.

There are serious problems with the Realtek PCIe Family Controller and Windows x, I am working with Realtek at present to effort and get this resolved.

Over again the commuter started working afterwards few hibernate and seeks for a week. Don't know when it is going to hide once again.

I have similar problem, dell pc inspiron 525, but neither my OEM Ethernet or different usb wireless cards (tried 3 and so far) has failed to get the pc continued to the network.

if the upgrade advisor had reported that the OEM network bill of fare is not compatible with windows x, I would not accept upgraded.

then I now have a windows 10 PC that is pretty much useless every bit I am unable to connect it to anything and the "free" upgrade has so far cost me $26.

not sure where to from hear, buy a replacement $500 pc ?

Microsoft needs to detect a fix. I know I am non the only person with MAJOR issues around my RealTek PCIe card.  The latest update does not work. nine.1.401.2015 is the release.  This is not acceptable

ok a flake of searching and I found this link, which fixed the trouble. saved $500 for now.

My calculator was doing fine equally well, until I moved, and I accept had the Windows 10 approximately a week and a half now.  This is ridiculous and Microsoft needs to detect a gear up and presently.  If I have to take another grade over again, as I am an online student, so they will not only pay for that adjacent grade, but my cable bill and anything else.  This is ridiculous!  I should non accept to get through this at all, and neither should anyone else.  School is very expensive, and I even went out and bought a new Ethernet wire, $xx.  So, now what MICROSOFT?

I'thou writing this eight months after the to a higher place post.  Tried upgrading to Win x on my Inspiron 546S.  Same problems with the RealTec PCIe Family Controller.  Would Dear to run across this issue taken care of.  I want to upgrade this machine but am hamstrung at the moment.  Back on Win 7 ... proficient affair I like it.
